In activity book do Activity 4 SOLID SHAPES Aim :- To understand conversion of 2-dimentional solid shapes like cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder, triangular pyramid and square pyramid in to 3-dimentional solids. Materials Required :1. Coloured chart paper 2. Scissors 3. Glue 4. Pencil Method :1. Draw and cut the nets of any two solids in a coloured chart paper as follows (refer textbook also) Cube

2. Cut these shapes using scissors. 3. If you fold the net you should get the solid shape in such a way you have to stick these cut-outs in your book 4. Stick only the portion shaded black of each solid shape in activity book . Conclusion:When the solid shapes are on the plane surface the solid shapes are 2-dimensional and when it is in space the solids form 3-dimensional shapes.
