Similarly, in accordance with the provisions of the Undersecretary of Telecommunications, companies offering mobile telephony services can not perform activities other than its core. According to the above statement, the Company is in itself a single segment. For the development of the mobile telecommunications business, the Company has two national licenses of 30 MHz each in the 1900 MHz band, which were awarded in their respective tender processes implemented by the Public Digital Mobile Telephony Service of 1900 MHz. Using these licenses, the Company operates a 2G network GSM / GPRS / EDGE which covers much of the country's population. Superimposed on this network and in the same spectrum, the Company also operates a 3.5G network since December 2006.
