    Which types of valves specifically you want to inspect? Here at our site we mainly inspect check valves. DPT / MPI of pin / spring is performed along with visual check of remaining components.

    At our site, we conduct visual checks for all the components of check and ball valves. The pins, hinges, flapper, ball are checked for any scratch or erosion / corrosion marks. We do not always conduct dye penetrant testing until or unless feel for that. Check valves are leak tested also. Any scratch on ball is not acceptable and replacement is recommended.
