Dear Hiring Manager: I am very enthusiastic to apply for the position of a Substitute Teacher for the Cumberland County Independent School District. I completely agree with your districts mission to make learning a joyful and productive experience for students, and I am confident that with my passion to teach, coupled with my high quality education, I would make an asset to your program. I am currently an Instructor at The Little Gym of Fayetteville, where I teach pre-k aged children gymnastics in a classroom setting. While working at The Little Gym I have acquired skills and experience relevant to a Substitute Teachers job responsibilities. This includes an understanding of class management, preparing and coordinating lesson plans, and encouraging students to participate in class activities. Currently I am working towards finishing my Bachelors Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at El Paso. While in school I have taken a handful of education, and social science classes, which have also helped prepare me for the classroom environment.
