Pawel Siwczak, harpsichordist, early keyboard specialist,

winner of the 8th Broadwood Harpsichord Competition


(2007) and the Musica Britannica award (2006). Presently a
teacher at the Royal Academy of Music, where he has

completed his Master of Music degree; earlier graduated


from the Academy of Music in Warsaw.
He has worked under the direction of Trevor Pinnock,
William Christie and John Eliott Gardiner.

Four Temperaments, Triologue, The King’s Private Musick.

Music for 2007/2008. International ensemble
whose members represent four European
countries, United Kingdom, Finland, Hungary
and Poland. Four Temperaments performed at
many festivals, including London Handel Festival
and Festival de Saintes (France). The quartet
plays baroque and classical music on period
instruments.

Triologue was established at the Royal


Academy of Music and in 2007 won the
prestigious Nancy Nuttall Early Music
Prize. Ensemble members come from
three countries, Sweden, Hungary and
Poland, and they specialize in performing
17th and 18th-century music on period
instruments. Recently Triologue has
launched a series of concerts in Central
London presenting all Sonatas for violin,
viola da gamba and basso continuo by
Dietrich Buxtehude, exploring the
potential of a musical dialogue.
