Drawing Pie Charts

Pie Charts are circles that are split up into sections. Each section represents a certain number of items. * Calculating angles for a Pie Chart. 1. Find the total for the items listed. 2. Find the fraction of the total for each item. 3. Multiply the fraction by 360 to find the angle.

Example The favourite sports of 24 pupils are as follows: Football - 9 pupils Netball - 3 pupils Swimming - 5 pupils Hockey - 7 pupils This information is then recorded into a table and the angles for each sector are calculated.
