When Telefund caller Kenny Keller (SMG’10) gets

on the line with BU alumni on behalf of the Annual


Fund, he often hears stories of their successes and
their travels. “To think that I’m coming from the same
University, with similar opportunities, is encouraging,”
says Kenny. Other times, the conversation is unpredict-
able, like the twenty-three-minute phone call — “I
timed it” — with an alum who gave Kenny detailed
instructions on foolproof methods of moneymaking,
Kenny Keller (SMG’10) including door-to-door dance lessons.
Kenny didn’t know what to expect when he became a
caller his freshman year. “I was still getting acclimated
to college life, so I wasn’t involved in much on campus,
and it seemed like a good cause,” he says. “Now I’m very
happily involved at BU, especially through Telefund.”
