    WILD CHILD REPORT

    Humans beings come to the world with the skills and capacity to communicate I mean they come to the world with language organs that is just a part because apart from that humans being acquire language by imitation and repetition so interaction with other people is important but what happen if a person like Genie is isolated in a room for years? This person will not be able to communicate because she cannot develop her language skills I mean if she is isolated she cannot learn to communicate by imitation because she is alone and completely isolated so she cannot acquire the language and what are the results of this isolation? I big damage to Genie, this damage according to some scientists is irreversible because they say that human beings have a time limit to acquire language, this is in puberty and if a person do not acquire language until puberty he will not never communicate . This is the debate that Jennys case has caused because some scientists said Jenny would be able to communicate and acquire language but other people said she will not, because she is a teenager and it is too late for her to acquire language because as I mentioned there is a time limit to acquire language. What I think is that there is a moment for everything and people cannot deprive to a child to his language. I mean there is a moment to read, to run, to eat and there is a moment to develop your communication skills and that is exactly what did not happen in Jennys case because she was born with the capacity to communicate her feelings but this capacity was interrupted by the isolation I mean the part which is responsible of language in Jennys brain was not stimulated so this part in Jennys brain was deactivated (Chomsky) I know that after the isolation she could pronounce words but she could not make sentences grammatically correct and syntax is bad too so the theory which say that a person has a time limit to acquire language seems to be true. be able to
