Mr. Hornbuckle, I am writing once again to ask you to amend the existing host community agreement with the City of Springfield to incorporate your total capital investment amount of your proposed project in Springfield, or at the very least the minimum capital investment amount. Originally when you appeared before the City Council Casino Site Committee back in March of 2013 you agreed at my request to incorporate in the host community agreement your total capital investment amount, an $851.5 million project at that time. Since then you have publicly stated and advertised an estimated capital investment of $800 million. This is raising concerns to many voters and I am requesting that MGM amend and clarify in writing their total or minimum capital investment in the City of Springfield. Our neighbors in West Springfield have recently executed a host community agreement for their town that clearly states Hard Rocks total minimum capital investment for their project in West Springfield. If its good for the town of West Springfield it is certainly good for the city of Springfield to incorporate it into their host community agreement.
