The UA is enclosed in a sheath of deep fascia The UA is divided into an anterior & posterior fascial compartment by 2 fascial septa: 1. Medial intermuscular septum: Attached to medial supracondylar ridge of humerus. 2. Lateral : Attached to the lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus.

Is a powerful supinator! Useful in twisting the corkscrew into the cork.


Is a powerful flexor of the elbow joint and weak flexor of the shoulder joint.
