Most of the assistance programs offered in this brochure are geared for the general public, and offer the most-prescribed drugs at no or little cost... without making your application process into a paperwork mess or subjecting you to unreasonable delays. But some people have a hard time qualifying or finding a program when their situation involves: Rare medications Experimental treatments Newly recognized diseases/conditions Missing/sparse medical records Incomplete or inaccurate applications

Tips for success:

Carefully follow application instructions Send copies of ALL documentation required with your application (when required) Make your own copy of each application pack Always give accurate and truthful information If finding documentation is a problem, include a note in your application saying so: you can also ask what alternative may be acceptable
