Middle School Physical Education Syllabus

Expectations in class:

Dressing out in Physical Education means to change clothes from what he/she wore to school into a t-shirt, gym shorts/pants, and tennis shoes. No visible sports bras, cut-offs, and shorts at least 6 inseam. Also, at the end of the hour students need to change back to the clothes wore to school. Coaches have clothes for students if he/she forgets. A student will get 4 no dresses per semester before an after school detention will be issued. His/her grade will be affected each time he/she forgets his/her clothes.

Grading: The maximum points a student can receive each time he/she has physical education is 10 by dressing out and participating. Also, written or skill test may be given throughout the year. Glance at activities throughout year: Archery Football Soccer Floor Polo Basketball Floor Hockey Dance Fitness Testing Interactive Games Volleyball Pickleball Badminton Frisbee Golf Wiffle Ball/Softball Orienteering General Information: Have students bring an extra set of physical education clothes to keep in the school locker. Good hygiene is crucial as students will sweat. Deodorant is key not perfume or spray. Doctors notes are required if a child is hurt not a parents note.
