Teaching ethics is based on the text of the "Teacher's Oath' which suggested that teachers need to carry out duties of the profession to a high level of ethical and moral conduct from the various aspects:

(Guide and teach students to be loyal and responsible citizens, to be able to respect older people, and also to consider religious and cultural differences)
Menghormati masyarakat tempat berkhidmat dan mengambil bahagian dalam kegiatan kemasyarakatan.

Tidak melibatkan diri dalam kegiatan yang boleh menjejaskan kecekapan sebagai seorang guru.

Berusaha dengan sepenuhnya menunaikan tanggungjawab, rajin dan bersungguh-sungguh sejajar dengan kemajuan ikhtisas keguruan.

The philosophy contained in the "Teacher's Oath" forms the determining basics for the teacher's ethics. It includes code of behaviour and teacher personality, role and responsibility, as well as characteristics and personal qualities of teachers. Teachers should possess creditable personality and high professional capability so as to fulfil their responsibilities thoroughly and effectively.
