    The STG governing system of Konaseema Gas Power Limited underwent inspection and maintenance. The stop and control valves of the high, intermediate, and low pressure streams were inspected internally and cleaned. Oil lines and joints were checked and found to have no abnormalities. Calibration of the high pressure control valve was performed. After mechanical and instrument and control department inspections and calibration checks, the system was able to operate normally when rolling the STG and gradually increasing load.

    Konaseema Gas Power Limited

    STG GOVERNING SYSTEM INSPECTION REPORT History: STG HP, IP, LP Governing system stop valves and Control valves operated from DCS but all 3 STREAMS Valves not opened. After that governing box inspection cover and front cover opened and internal inspection done and inside the line strainer opened and cleaned. All internal oil line joints thoroughly checked and found no abnormality. After inspection checks clearance given to C&I dept, at 15:30 hrs. To check the control valve stroke. And HP Control valve calibration was done. On 06/07/ 2011. Events On 06/07/2011. Governing box inspection cover opened and internal inspection done and inside the line strainer opened and cleaned. All internal oil Lubrication line joints checked they were inspected and re fixed in the position. And clearance given to I&C DEPT. After their inspection and calibration checks system operated and found working normal. Inspection activities & reports: After completion of above activities by mechanical and I&C Dept. on 06/07/ 2011. At 16:58hrs. Clearance given to operation dept for STG Rolling and load increased gradually without any abnormalities.
