Did you know? That a London Property Developer has put in for Planning Permission to build a block of flats on the old Bishop Hardware site. Did you know? The plan would see a block with 29 one & two bedroom flats built. Did you know? That the flats would be a massive three storey building. Did you know? The plan has only one parking space for each flat. Did you know? Access to the site will be via both Villa Place & Cambridge Road. Did you know? You only have until Wednesday 24th July to let the Council know you dont like the plans.

1 Look at the plans, either at www.southcambs.gov.uk (S/1152/13/FL) or at the Parish Council Offices. 2 If you dont like these plans you need to write to (or email) the Council and let them know by the 24th July 2013. 3 Let our Village Councillors & Parish Council know that you dont like these plans!

4 easy steps on how to object to this planning application

Step 1
Have a look at the plans, either at www.southcambs.gov.uk (S/1152/13FL) or at our Parish Council Offices.

Step 2
You can put anything you like in your letter, however the following list highlights material objections the Council will consider when deciding the planning application. These include: Overdevelopment of the site Unacceptably high density Effect on the character of the neighborhood Out-of-scale or out of character with the area Overlooking other properties Loss of privacy Design of the building Noise and Disturbance Goes against the New Local Plan recently consulted on Visual impact Over-bearing Highway safety /Parking

Step 3
Send your objection letter to South Cambridgeshire District Council either by: emailing:- ray.mcmurray@scambs.gov.uk or posting to : South Cambridgeshire District Council, Planning and New Communities, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA

ACT NOW as the deadline is 24th JULY

(or drop it into the Parish Council Office by 19th July)
