Alaniz Classroom Rules Pre-Kindergarten

We walk.
Children are expected to use walking feet when moving from one place to another. Running in our classroom can cause accidents and/or injuries to ourselves or others.

We take care of our classroom.

Children are expected to clean-up after themselves, not mistreat our books or toys. If our toys break or our books tear, there will be nothing to read or play with.

Use an inside voice.

Children are expected to use a blue (level 2) voice inside the classroom. Screaming in our classroom is counterproductive to learning. Outside voices or red (level 4) voices are reserved for the playground, unless otherwise instructed by the teacher.

We keep our hands and feet to ourselves.

Children are expected to use words to resolve conflicts. Hitting and/or kicking are not acceptable. By keeping our hands to ourselves, we reduce the spreading of germs.

We share.
Children are expected to share toys, and classroom resources. Sharing toys means making friends.
