Independent 1. Recommend positions for sleep that provide adequate support. 2. Provide bedtime care such as straightening bed sheets, changing damp linens or gowns 3. Discourage entertaining or frequent visits from others.

Disturbed Sleep Pattern related to interruptions for therapeutics, monitoring, and laboratory tests
After 4 hours of nursing interventions, the patient will report increased sense of well-being and feeling rested.
Goal met. After 4 hours of nursing interventions, the patient reported increased sense of well-being and feeling rested.
Visiting with friends uses energy and contributes to fatigue. To promote readiness for sleep, and improve sleep duration and quality
4. Minimize sleepdisrupting factors (e.g., shut room door, adjust room temperature, reduce talking and disturbing noises such as phones/alarms) 5. Perform monitoring and care activities without waking client whenever possible
