Saturday, August 3, 2:004:00 p.m. Flow Yoga is an inherently yang (active, heat-building) practice, while Yin Yoga is a cooling, internally focused practice. This workshop is intended to leave you feeling completely balanced, having spent 50 minutes heating, stretching, and strengthening the muscles, followed by 40 minutes of inwardly directed passive stretching through longer holds (34 minutes) of more passive, lowto-the-ground poses such as supported backbends, forward folds, and lunges. We'll spend 10 minutes practicing restorative poses, 10 minutes practicing pranayama (breathing exercises to balance the nervous system, such as alternate nostril breathing), and 10 minutes of sweet rest in savasana. With literally hundreds of hours of teaching and training in several styles under their belts, Sierra and Nicole are well equipped to provide you with a safe, enjoyable experience adapted to the unique needs of your body. $35; $30 until July 27
