Academics & Examination (UGS) 9th April 2013 Notice

Applications are invited from the 4th year Undergraduate Students (2010 B.Tech., Dual Degree and Integrated M.Tech) interested in UG Teaching Assistantship for the 1st Semester 2013-2014. The students having CGPA above 8.5 are eligible for the TA work. The selected TAs can be used for conducting help sessions or as a special case for conducting tutorials and lab sessions and preparation of teaching material for this purpose. They will be assigned 3-4 hours (max) weekly teaching load which implies about 8 hours of involvement including preparation. The performance of the UG TAs will be monitored by the course coordinator and they will be formally registered for the course in which they are offering TA services. The Course Coordinator will evaluate TAs performance at the end of the Semester. The TA whose performance is found satisfactory will be given reimbursement of tuition fee or amount equivalent of the tuition fee (in case already getting exemption). He/She will also be awarded a certificate of appreciation for the TA job by the Dean, Academics.
