County Democratic Central Committee is seeking a male member to join the Committee. In accordance with the Maryland Democratic Party By-Laws this vacancy must be filled by August 15, 2013. Central Committee members are expected to, among other things: support all Democratic candidates; assist in fundraising; participate in one or more sub-committees; attend monthly committee meetings as well as two full State Party meetings each year; 5. attend various county and community events to maintain a public presence of the Democratic Party; 6. volunteer time during election seasons. 1. 2. 3. 4. The deadline for the Central Committee to accept applications for this opening is Friday, July 26, 2013. All applicants will be provided an opportunity to interview with the Central Committee at a special meeting, after which a roll call vote will be taken to elect a new member. The date and time of this meeting will be announced prior to the deadline for accepting applications.
