A start of a family a family tradition/pilgrimage. By Ruby L. Rivero I will be going to Naga City this Christmas break.

Weve been looking forward to this event, since last year. I think this is the start of a family tradition. In case you dont know, my husband is from Naga. He has lived there for almost 31 years now, though he is in Manila right now pursuing law at UP Diliman. That is the reason why well be going there almost every year during Christmas holidays. I could imagine what a great adventure this is for my little girl. She likes going there to see her friend, her Auntie Kate who is her playmate. Kate is just in her elementary grades, so I believe my daughter feels some kindred spirit with her Aunt more than shell feel for her granny. My daughter keeps on saying Im going to visit my friend. Shes as excited as ever. My husband too feels giddy about this trip. He is always boasting to me things peculiar about Naga, the foods, the places to see and the people too. We will see the sights too for the holidays, may be SM will be open now. I will give my in-laws presents for the occasion when I see them. So right now, my mind is filled with lots of ideas. I hope I have the money to shop for their gifts.
