TRANSLATION
A translation is characterized by a vector. (example of a vector and of a translation of a given vector). Knowing vector = knowing translation E.g consider O= (0;0) and point P=(2;-5) (2;-5) = components of the vector v = OP Each point of the plane is translated 2 units to the right and 5 units down.
