Procedure how to compute Generator harmonics with DriveSize

DriveSize2.1 has some limitations like : a virtual transformer is required Network short circuit power max Transformer Pk min Minimun Zk for transformer Type in the original generator data: Sn 1090 kVA Secondary voltage 400 V X"d 9.46% Parallel units 4 Some intermediate computed values Symmetrical short circuit power subtransient value 46.1 MVA After modelling generator with maximum network power and virtual transformer => ratio of Sn/Zk 48.6 MVA 900 MVA 0.55 kW 3%

Input data for DriveSize 1) The motors and drives are added into DriveSize. 2) Please notice that load of multiple equal inverters can be set with "Inverter amount" 3) Please notice that DriveSize is able to compute harmonics of different converter sizes as well. 4) Let DriveSize select the transformer and move the focus on top of transformer. Then select network check and type in the following data. Transformer Sn [kVA] Transformer Pk kW Transformer Zk [%] Primary voltage [V] Secondary voltage [V] 4360 0.55 8.98% 400 400

5) From the DriveSize results select the secondary results. They are equivalent on the harmonics at Generator terminals.
