That means rain.
How do you know ?
I don't know, but it's the old belief that if the cat washes her face or
sneezes, rain is due.
That's very interesting. Let's wait and see if it would rain or not.
There are many kinds of animals which are useful barometer, but not
a very accurate one, you know.
What kinds of animals, for instance?
For instance, birds and bees. When birds fly high, the weather will be
fair, but when they stay close to the ground they indicate bad weather.
I never noticed that.
And bees act the same way. When they range far from home, the
weather will be good, but when they stay close to the hive, rain is near.
That reminds me of an old English proverb which says : "A bee was
never caught in a shower."
That might be true.
That means bees can predict the weather so that they know how to
avoid rains and storms, doesn't it?
I think so. Forecasting weather changes by the behavior of animals is
not pure fantasy.
Let's observe it from now on.
