You may do so by Constructing lines XA and YB, bisecting each, and then connecting the resulting midpoints; or, Extending lines XY and AB until they intersect, and bisecting the angle formed by the two lines. | The centers of both circles C and D lie along this line. 2 | Draw a construction line 11 tangent to circle C at point D (circle Cs intersection with line 00). 3 | Draw the angle bisector of 11Y. | The intersection of this bisector and line 00 is the center of circle D [with radius DD].
