Breakfast routines and procedures: 1. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:45 a.m. 2.

Staff duty position to monitor breezeway 3. All breakfast eaters (who are bus riders) go through the breezeway eating breakfast first and then going to their classroom. 4. All students who eat breakfast at school should eat breakfast first before going to their classrooms. 5. Students not eating breakfast should go straight to their classrooms. 6. There is no talking allowed at breakfast. 7. Flow of traffic will be marked with arrows on the floor (also indicates silent zone). 8. Students arriving before 9:10 should enter the cafeteria and put their backpack/coat on designated table in the smaller eating area. Students arriving at 9:10 or after should go through the line 1st. 9. After putting belongings down, students should follow the arrows through the silent zone to enter the serving line. 10. Lock-it or Pocket (hands together, at sides or in pockets and facing forward) should be observed at all times when students are in line. 11. When finished, students should throw away their trash, get their things and then go straight to class. 12. Staff members on breakfast duty need to be on time (8:40) and stay until 9:25Specialists on duty will need to leave at 9:15 to teach their classes. 13. Breakfast in the cafeteria stops at 9:15 a.m. (allowing time for those who entered the building right as or just before the tardy bell rang to walk straight to the cafeteria). Those in the cafeteria by this time should get their breakfast and eat in the cafeteria before going to class. 14. Tardy students (those signing in at the office after 9:15) will get a breakfast bar from the office (PTA will donate breakfast bars). 15. All students and staff should be out of the cafeteria by 9:25.
