    PROCEDURES: A. Using the Pycnometer

    1. Weig h an empty beake r.

    2. Put 100 ml of water in the beaker and record its weight.


    3. Subtract the weight of the beaker to get the weight of the water.

    Dividing this by the volume, the density of the water can be determined.
