Household power supply to over 1lack villages through independent power generating resource.

It is been estimated that the average energy consumption of the locomative of Indian Railways is 50million KWH. Such a huge amount of energy is being utilised without any proper recovery. In a largely populated country India, the total rail track length is found out to be 115,000 Kilometers, including a approximate 7500 stations. This will obviously ensures that the total rail track may defnitely cover an estimated 10%15% villages of the country. Also about 5% of the villages are having lack of road connectivity where necessary arrangements to be done to supply the electricity is the challenging task. The idea is to overcome this problem as well as to devolope an independent power generation source which mainly utilises the locomotive tracks as a major resource of potential energy. The tracks near the staions are utilised as long distance humps which will not affect the slow motion of the train near the station. As the amount of movement of hump caused due to the heavy mass of the train, by using appropriate electric generator the generated voltage is recovered through a battery of high capacity. A large number of batteries connected in series will defnitely ensure the generation of the sufficient volatage from the rail track. The battery charging mechanism is done in such a way that the completely charged battery is automatically replaced with the uncharged one without human intervention , and is challenging task. Thus generated electric power can be easily supplied to villges within 0.5 to 1.0km range without considerable transmission losses.
