Quippo-WTTIL signs 5-year multi-million dollar Integrated Managed Services deal with IBM

New Delhi, India, June 17, 2010: Quippo-WTTIL, the worlds largest independent telecom infrastructure company today announced that it has signed a five year multi-million dollar Integrated Managed Services (IMS) agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM). In a first of its kind outsourcing deal, IBM will provide comprehensive technical support to overhaul QuippoWTTILs IT infrastructure system which will include managing the hardware, mailing and infrastructure management software applications. The agreement is a step towards creating a unified IT environment for the successful functioning of the joint entity - Quippo-WTTIL. The technology services provided by IBM will synchronize the companys business processes enabling maximum operational efficiency. As part of the agreement, IBM will deploy server and storage support, networking and security services at QUIPPO-WTTILs hosted data centre in Gurgaon. IBM will also host and manage Quippo-WTTILs Lotus Notes and provide managed services for all offices across the country.
