Dilmara-Sleeper Game Final
Dilmara-Sleeper Game Final
Materials:
Choose some irregular verbs and write their three forms on three cards.
Make one set for each student.
That is, if there are 20 students in the class you have to prepare 20 sets. Prepare one more card to be the sleeper.
Decide with them which way the turns will be going (clockwise or counterclockwise)
Shuffle the cards and deal 3 for each student, but one of them will be with 4 cards and will start the game.
The player will choose one of his/her cards, to discard for the next player.
The game will go on with a player passing a card to the next player.
Who receives the sleeper must stay with it for a round and must spend another card.
When a player form a set, he/she has to lower the cards, with the faces down, discreetly.
The goal of the game is form a set and, also, is not be the last to lower the cards.
It is important stares at the hand of opponents! If someone lower the cards, the other players should do the same, so as not to be the "sleeper".
The player that form the set first will read the verbs aloud and will can choose a punishment for the last one.
It's a simple little game of cards but ver y fun and helpful.
