The E.U - Factortame Case. Britain Is Stronger As A Member of The E.U
E.U law does not have to pass through parliament. It just is. Factortame case: E.U Treaty of Rome 1973 took precedent over British Merchant Shipping Act 1988. This meant that a previous parliament had bound its successor, undermining the key feature of parliamentary sovereignty.
