I implemented a program of work to establish and study the flow of a buyer as they utilise the Trading Post website. From this program we can then apply analytics and measure the success/ failure as the user interacts with our site. I then was able to accurately forecast and meet business objectives through measuring traffic statistics on a weekly basis. 1. I started by creating a group personas based on demographics determined by marketing.
2. We took these personas and applied them to the buyer lifecycle determining how Trading Post can/does support these users throughout the cycle.
3. From the Task Analysis I determined the user flow as it pertains solely to the site.
4. Finally wireframes were designed and mapped out utilising the above diagram to visualise
the flow including entry & exit points.
