TOPOGRAPHIC FACTORS

The physical geographical factors are known as topographic factors.these factors include altitude, slope, and direction of mountain chains and valleys.all these factors affect the climatic conditions of a place and thereby influence the distribution of organisms.

EDAPHIC FACTORS

Edaphic factors deals with the structure formation and characteristics of different type of soils.soil

BIOTIC FACTORS

The living componets of the environment are considered as biotic factors .organisms in the envoroment interct among themselves and this may be intraspecific or inter -specific.

LIMITING FACTORS

Limiting factors denote the amount of substance that is either least abundant or over abudant in relation to the need of the living organism.limiting factors may be density dependent, for example, when the food stock is fixed for a given density of population, overpopulation will lead to scarcity of food.
