Dear Ms. Aveen, Solidarity Greetings! On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Global Indigenous Peoples Day 2013 Celebration, we would like to invite your/your representative as PARTICIPANT that will join the discussion on issues affecting Indigenous Peoples and some updates on the their situation in Maguindanao and South-Central Mindanao as a whole which will take place on August 9, 2013 at El Comidore Function Hall, Cotabato City at 9:00am to 12:00 in the afternoon. This program of activity complements the activities initiated by other organizations and NGOs, various government agencies, and the UN and other multi-lateral bodies to celebrate IP Day in the national capital, in regional centers and local communities. The forum will unite and consolidate a local IP Agenda which brings together the various IP issues and concerns especially on peace and development in South Central Mindanao. Presentation of their program of action and proposals to local and national agencies as an agenda specific to the IP. We will appreciate your participation to the activity.
