Description: The Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad
Program provides opportunities for faculty with
responsibilities for curriculum development in fields
related to humanities, languages, and area studies to have
an overseas experience. The seminars provide a broad
cultural orientation on selected countries which vary from
year to year. In the summer of 2008, presenters Young
Jackson and Keri Moe participated in seminars in
Bulgaria/Greece and Morocco. This workshop will
inform faculty about the Fulbright Hays Seminar program
and give an overview of what these seminars entail by
showcasing personal experiences, as well as informing
faculty how to apply for these programs. CB Credit: #6
