Project Work

Topic Selection Procedure: 1. It should be an improvement of Ship in Campus, related to ship equipment. 2. It could be a working or demonstrative model of any engineering design, need not be ship related. 3. Project could be theoretical. 4. It could be related to Environment protection system for air, water and soil. 5. It could be Energy efficient module, eg: wind energy, solar energy, wave and tidal, etc., Guidelines for the project: 1. Project should be approved by Dean. 2. Project will be carried out during VII semester, every Friday and Saturday. No hot work or heavy lifting to be done on Saturdays without prior written permission from Ship in Campus Professor in charge. (Odd Semester I,II,III groups and Even Semester IV,V) 3. The project conceived should adopt all latest regulation as much as possible. 4. Preliminary report of project with cost should be submitted for approval by Dean. 5. Cost of Project will be borne by the students. 6. If any project requires financial assistance, it should be first approved by Dean, however small it is. 7. Project should be completed in the specified time. 8. Group of 8 students will be allotted to do one Project . 9. The group can contact the Professor D.I. Marine Engineering Department professors will be designated as project guide by the Deen.. 11. Students should prepare completed project report and submit it to Dean. Final Project report both hard and soft copies has to be submitted to Dean
