Biotechnology Program
At Boston University CityLab
What
The Scholars Program is designed for students who have completed SummerLab and want to learn more about biotechnology. Scholars meet each month after school to deepen their knowledge of laboratory techniques by performing advanced experiments.
An opportunity for students to get hands on lab experience with biotechnology. We offer two curricula Go for the Glow and Clinical Connection to choose from.
Where
We are located at 801 Albany St. on BUs Medical Campus. Satellite locations include Gann Academy in Waltham (Session 2) and Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree (Session 3).

Fast Facts
Open to students entering the 10th grade through their first year of college. SummerLab is a one week program. SummerLab runs from 9-3 daily. Commuters and boarders are welcome. Housing is available on the Charles River Campus (additional fees apply). Scholarships are available for students receiving free or reduced lunch. SummerLab culminates in a poster session for family, friends, and fellow BU scientists.
