Weekly Outline:
Activity session subject : Classroom objects Vocabulary: Classroom objects: pencil, pen, bag, book, desk, chair, table, board, crayon, eraser, scissors, glue, stapler and hole-punch. Classroom activities/verbs: sing, listen, draw, look, read, point, write, cut, think, colour in. Grammar Focus: Asking What am I doing? What is he/she doing? you are sing-ing listen-ing draw-ing etc. When making paper airplanes, build understanding of phrases such as Fold down, Open up. Activities / songs / games: TPR for warm up and verbs Say hold a pencil/hold a pen/sit on your chair and the students will do the action. Worksheets: Match the name with the picture. Classroom verbs. Demonstration on how to make paper airplanes, then can be coloured and personalised by the students, can be brought home after the weeks activities. Games: Airplane game Pictionary Phonics This week we will continue our review of all the phonics sounds using jolly phonics and playing phonics based games.
