    Dear Sir/Madam, This is Anitha Dorairaj, Principal, Bodhi School, India. My husband Mr. Jayan Krishnan (Director, Bodhi School) and I have been running this school for 4 years now. We introduce themes every month and activities and field trips related to it. This helps our children to gain more knowledge of the outside world and grow as global citizens with good exposure to life in various parts of the world. We came across British Councils International School Award (ISA) orientation and realised that our methodologies and vision of bringing up global citizens with compassion and understanding of various cultures and people around the world would be more enhanced through ISA projects. Projects are basically themes that we have been implementing over the years. By our relationship with British Council, we give our kids an arena to the global community. We are planning on implementing various projects like Festivals around the world, Tribal origin of various nations, Meaning of National Anthems, Food habits around the world, Clothing culture, Types of homes, People in the Neighbourhood, National leaders etc. We would love to share our cultural heritage with your children through our various activities (emails, photos and videos) and would be excited to learn about yours. Im sure this would be a great way to help children learn and share their experiences and knowledge paving way to a better world with kids inheriting and respecting rich cultural knowledge. In todays world Im sure this is the best opportunity to provide young minds to bloom into global citizens with love, respect and compassion towards each other. We have registered in www.britishcouncil.org/schoolsonline to connect classrooms all around the world. Im sure you could also find various opportunities to help your children learn through this website.
