First Aid and Basic Life Support TRAINING PREPARATIONS The coordinating party is requested comply with the

Training area wide space, as much as possible conducive with less external noise Laptop / computer (for back up only) LCD Projector Sound System Hand-outs/ manual 2 bottles of alcohol (per 35 pax) Pair of latex/vinyl gloves per participant 2 packs of non- sterile gauze pads( Pack of 50 plies) 1 blanket per pair 1 pc. face mask (earloop) per participant 2 triangular bandages per pax Standard size for the triangular bandage 40x40x60 Splints - 1 set ( 2 pcs per size) Splint sizes: Thickness: Width: 3-4 Length: 6; 12; 24; 36; 48; 60 For practical application (drill) on the last day: i. Yarns 1 roll of green; yellow; red; black ii. Moulage: 12 sachet red dye (food coloring) 2 sachet black dye (food coloring) 1 small sachet of vinegar (1 peso pack only) 10 pcs zoy 1 roll of tissue iii. Another option for the Dye moulage is ketchup. iv. Worn out t-shirt and shorts/jeans/jogging pants ( agreeable to be stained) Uniform must be: a) close neck shirt especially for female b) jeans, long pants or jogging pants ( no shorts) c) rubber shoes / comfortable close shoes (no slippers) d) no lipstick or lip gloss especially during CPR session e) Bring extra tee shirts daily Accommodation (meals, snacks, water) and Transport of Trainers (8:00am at Sandawa Base) Certificates should be produced by the requesting party a) Format of certificate will be given during the first day. b) Certificate of Completion / attendance will depend on the results of the evaluation (written and actual).
