    Week Three Work Sample Explanation: Shantala Shivalingappa Program A major responsibility I had as a Press/Editorial Intern was writing

    the program information for each artist or company who performed in the Doris Duke Theatre. The program information for the first artist performing in the Doris Duke Theatre was written before I arrived at the Pillow, so I was able to use that as a reference. Personnel from the artist or company sent over program information, which I then had to edit through and transfer into our template. The program approval process also took five different rounds with up to five different people looking through and sending edits back to me. Deadlines and follow-up were a crucial part of program writing.
