GET FIT starts Thursday

Its school time in Tennessee! This class had high expectations due to the high praise of previous teachers, and they did not disappoint. I am extremely proud of how hard all the students worked this week. During the first week, we normally just work on routines and classroom behaviors. Because they came in ready to go, we were able to move along quite quickly on procedure items and start with curriculum. The students took a closer look at cells with our iPads and microscopes during science. We also started our unit on the Civil War by comparing and contrasting the North and the South. In reading, we worked on our novels and had a session with our reading buddies. To finish the week, we had a mystery Skype challenge and wrote about our first week on our blogs.
