KEEP ST.

LOUIS FREE
Stop the St. Louis City Smoking Ban!

28th Ward Alderman Lyda Krewson has proposed an ordinance

in the City of St. Louis that bans smoking nearly everywhere.

Smoking would be banned in:

• Current designated smoking areas in work
work places and job sites
• Work vehicles, trucks, machinery cabs and parking garages
• Union Halls, VFW Halls, private clubs and organizations
• All restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, casinos, pool & bingo halls

Penalties: $500 fines & liquor license revocation

revocation!
ation!

To STOP this ban, YOU must call today!

Alderman Greg Carter: (314) 382-7700 carterg@stlouiscity.com
Lyda Krewson & Board of Aldermen : (314) 622-3287
Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed: (314) 622-4114 reedl@stlcity.com
Mayor Slay: (314) 622-3201 mayorslay@mayorslay.com

Tell the aldermen to oppose the St. Louis City Smoke Free Air Act of 2009! It would force
union workers and war veterans out of their union & VFW halls, work vehicles & favorite
bars to smoke in the rain, wind and cold! Even OSHA refuses to ban workplace smoking!

Don’t let this happen to St. Louis veterans & workers!
