    Seventh Squad detectives report the arrest of a Brooklyn man for a burglary that occurred in Merrick on Thursday, 08/15/13 at 10:00 A.M. According to detectives, Zaheer Ahmad, 21, of 78-02 21 st Ave., employed as a construction worker for Crown Builders Corp., while doing exterior work at a residence on Charlotte Drive, entered the homeowners bedroom and removed assorted jewelry. The jewelry has not yet been recovered. Ahmad was placed under arrest on Saturday, 08/17/13 and is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, 08/18/13 in First District Court, Hempstead. Details by: Det. Perkins/7 th Squad
