    Department profile

    The department of Civil Engineering was established in 2006 with an initial intake of 60students. The Department has grown

    tremendously over the years and is now recognized as one of the full fledged

    engineering departments . The Department of Civil Engineering pulls out all stops to create outstanding engineers - with advanced teaching techniques and learning aids for undergraduate students and state of the art research facilities for postgraduate students and doctoral

    candidates. Students are not only made experts in technical aspects but also in interpersonal skills, a vital ingredient to excel in the fastpaced world. Besides high quality teaching and instruction, the Department is actively involved in basic and applied research and consultancy and provides high quality technical advisory support through various consultancy works to various organizations. The Department of Civil Engineering with its multifaceted faculty continues to maintain and cultivate its strong links with the infrastructural industry and academic and research institutions both within and outside the country.
