INCIDENT: Robbery DATE/TIME: 2130 LOCATION: New Cassel ITEM: 03 August 19, 2013,

The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. in New Cassel. According to detectives, the male victim, 35 years of age, was riding his mountain bicycle in front of 170 Hopper Street when he was approached by five to seven male blacks, between nineteen and twenty years old. The victim was grabbed off his bicycle, punched and kicked about the face and arms. One of the subjects fled on the victims bicycle, while the others fled on foot southbound on Hopper Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
