Way to go, Junior League World Series volunteers!


Congratulations to the 200-plus volunteers of the Junior League Baseball World Series, which concluded its 33rd amazing year on Saturday at Heritage Park. The World Series and our citys four great Little Leagues have made Taylor the Baseball Capital of Michigan and put our community on the worldwide baseball map. I was honored to take part in the colorful opening ceremonies and witnessed numerous games throughout the week with my son Carson. The games were great, the visitors felt Carson and I had a blast welcome and lasting during the USA Championmemories were made. ship (above) and other Plus, all eyes were on games of the Junior League Taylor for the world World Series at Heritage championship game that Park. Thanks to everyone who has shown support for our campaign to become the next Mayor of the City of Taylor. I was so honored and blessed to finish first in the Primary Election on Aug. 6, but we have lots of work ahead before the Nov. 5 General Election.
