    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, August 21, 2013

    TRAFFIC ADVISORY
    The City of San Diego Public Utilities Department will conduct repair work on a trunk sewer line at the Texas Street off ramp from the eastbound Interstate 8 freeway. To facilitate the emergency construction work, temporary closure of the off ramp and traffic detours will be required. This work, which will be done at night, will be take place from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, beginning THURSDAY, AUGUST 22 and continuing through WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28. The off ramp will be open during the rest of each day. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling near the construction zone, and to use alternative routes. Patience and understanding are appreciated while work progresses on this emergency project. Every provision will be taken to quickly and efficiently complete the work.
