Please keep Your Scholars in

School Until Dismissal

3rd WEEK OF SCHOOL!

Parent Volunteers Keep Scholars Safe! Join us to help with Morning Drop-off! The morning drop-off procedures are in full effect. Enter from 4th street and follow the Trucks Only sign to the Drop-Off Zone. We are in front of the school to open car doors and welcome scholars. You can volunteer to help by contacting Ms. Gonzalez at 909884-1410. If you need to walk your scholar inside, please enter through E street and park your vehicle in a stall, not along the curb please.

Parents and Families, Weve recently been challenged with students being picked-up early before their dismissal time. Please be mindful that our Commitment to Excellence contract states the following: We will make arrangements so our child can remain at school until his/her grade-level dismissal time. It is important for our scholars to stay in school until his/her dismissal time to ensure each scholar is receiving the academic instruction needed to be successful. If you need to schedule a doctor or dentist appointment, try to schedule appointments on non-student days. The dismissal times are as follow: Kindergarten (Early Birds): 3:00 p.m. Kindergarten (Later Gators): 4:00 p.m. First and Second grade: 3:45 p.m. Third, Fourth, and fifth grade: 4:00 p.m. Sixth grade: 5:00 p.m.

Principals Message Welcome to Week 3! This week we will host our first Parenthood meeting on Thursday August 22nd from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. At this meeting we will establish our Motherhood, Fatherhood, and Grandparents groups. Hope to see you all there! Mark Your Calendar! Are you interested in helping with Cub Scouts? This year we would like to offer Cub Scouts to our scholars on campus. If you are interested in helping with Cub Scouts, please contact Mr. Horigan our 2nd grade teacher via email jhorigan@fortuneschool.us or contact our parent liaison Ms. Gonzalez at 909-884-1410.
