NOTICE OF RACE

Skyline Regatta

Location Columbia Yacht Club, Chicago, IL

Dates June 24-26, 2009

Rules This regatta will be governed by the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the
prescriptions of US SAILING, the class associations, and the sailing instructions.

Format This event will be a BYO Club 420 (trapeze and spinnaker), Laser, Laser Radial and
Optimist regatta. Because the event is two days in length, the courses may be longer
than most one-day regattas with no maximum number of races set. A minimum of
three races is required for a regatta.

Registration Please register by Friday June 19th 5:00 pm, by contacting Kurt Thomsen at
312.938.3625 ext. 123, by e-mail to Kurt@colyc.com or by mail to Columbia Yacht
Club, ATTN: Kurt Thomsen, 111 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60601. A
$20.00 late fee will be added after that time.

Boat It is requested that all boats be delivered to Columbia Yacht Club prior to the
Delivery Clinic (Tuesday, June 23, 2009) between the hours of 11AM and 5PM. If this
is not possible or you would like to arrive earlier, please contact Kurt to make
arrangements.

Entry Fee $60.00 per sailor with clinic, $50.00 per sailor without. Please make checks payable
to Columbia Sailing School.

Sailing Available at registration.

Instructions

Lunch Will be provided. Additional lunches are available at $10.00 each.

Awards First through third for each fleet.

Parking Parking is available at DuSable Harbor Parking lot under Lake Shore Drive at
Randolph Street for $20.00 per day. Trailers can be stored here as well at no charge
but we have limited space. Please contact Kurt directly regarding trailer storage.
